Alison has been working as a fashion designer in the mass market and the consultant of fashion brand development in China market for over 20 years since her graduation from the School of Design of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. 

Not only had she participated in the development and teaching of some taught modules as a Programme advisor and part-time Module lecturer in the Middlesex University, London and HKU SPACE from 2006 to 2016, but also gained several professional recognition. i.e. Member of the Character Society of Designers, U.K. (MCSD) since 2008, the Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) in the U.K. since 2014.
